1. Prosthodontics
The ailments of the teeth, the gums, and those of the whole oral cavity are often the cause of losing one or more teeth. The belated consultation with a specialist and consequently the lack of timely treatment is the main premise for this unpleasant and also dangerous complication. We use the methods of prosthodontics to restore the missing tooth or teeth, to improve their function, patient’s speech and the overall aesthetic aspect.
To patients experiencing the above mentioned troubles we offer:
1. Metaloceramic and pure ceramic crowns and bridges
2. Veneers
3. All kinds of partial and whole prosthesis
4. Aesthetic incrustations
5. Splint for bruxism
6. Combinated prosthodontics
2. Therapeutic dentistry
The dental caries is the most popular disease in human pathology. Different pathogenic microorganisms play the major part in the formation of the dental caries, however several of the predisposing critical to this illness factors include: unsatisfactory oral hygiene, often and excessive consumption of foods rich in sugar and unfortunately a certain hereditary predisposition. Once formed, the dental caries further progresses for it is not a reversible process. If it is not treated in time and in an adequate manner it may lead to inflammation of the dental pulp (pulpitis) which on its part extends to final mortification (devitalisation) of the tooth. The dental caries and its complications are the most frequent reasons for teeth loosing.
In our everyday practice we treat:
1. Dental caries
2. Diseases of the dental pulp, wich include:
- pulpitis
- periodontitis (abces)
- cysts
3. Pediatric Dentistry and Pregnancy
One renders cares for her child since the first days of one’s pregnancy. The proper and regular food intake, as well as the expedient way of life of the mother, reflect directly on the fetus. The good overall health condition and especially dental health of the pregnant woman ensures the good health of the new born. During pregnancy the environment in the oral cavity change to a great extend. In this regard the regular consultations with the dentist bring a sense of security to the pregnant woman.
Child’s first visit to a dentist is normally to be planned within its first year. The establishment of a trust relationship with the family dentist at an early stage is crucial to child’s future dental culture and oral health.
To our small patients we propose:
1. Treatment of caries and pulpitis of temporary and permanent teeth
2. Application of fluoric products
3. Application of sealants
4. Diagnosis of orthodontic deformations and anomalies
4. Parodontology
Parodontology is a relatively young discipline (around 30 year-old). It studies the diseases of the gums, the bone that surrounds the teeth and the oral mucosa.
The inflammation of the gums (gingivitis) and the inflammation of the bone (periodontitis) are most often the result of the accumulation of dental tartar. The tartar represents a highly mineralized and hardened dental plaque which cannot be removed by the methods of personal oral hygiene (using dental brush and a toothpaste). The existence of dental tartar leads to further accumulation of plaque and it results in setting a favourable environment to a formation of caries. Last, but not least, the tartar is to blame for the bad breath. The regular cleaning of the tartar (usually in every six months) in a professional environment is an important part of a higher level of oral hygiene and health.
In our practice we propose:
1. Cleaning of the dental tartar
2. Treatment of gingivitis
3. Treatment of periodontitis
4. Treatment of aphthaes and other diseases of the oral cavity
5. Surgery
The extraction of a tooth is the most frequent surgical intervention in the dental medicine. However in our practice we strive to protect the original teeth as long as possible, so we resort to this intervention in case of extreme necessity, even emergency.
